FOOD WITH A SENSE OF HOME

A taste of home.
A story to share.

Elis Brown grew up in Jember, East Java, where food, family and hospitality were central to everyday life. That sense of welcome is at the heart of Indo-Jacks.

She brings around 15 years of professional kitchen experience in Swansea cafés and restaurants, most recently as a chef at the Kardomah. That experience, from food preparation and menu development to busy services, now supports her next step: a business of her own.

Indo-Jacks is her chance to build something around the food she knows best: sharing Indonesian flavours and giving customers a connection to her East Javanese heritage.

“Bring the essence of Java to Swansea.”

The launch menu includes Nasi Goreng, Chicken Sate and our signature Nasi Campur Indonesia, served with beef or chicken rendang. Vegetarian choices include vegetable curry with jackfruit and sweetcorn fritters.

Elis is preparing to take that food on the road in her mobile street-food trailer, with walk-up lunches, events and private catering planned. Whether Indonesian food is new to you or reminds you of home, she looks forward to welcoming you.

Say hello to Elis
